SUMMARY OF POSITION
Monterey County Health Departments Administration Bureau seeks energetic applicants with excellent supervisory communications organizational skills for a Building Maintenance Supervisor. This classification is a full supervisory level in this series. The Building Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for daytoday installations repair and maintenance of Health Department facilities equipment supervision of building maintenance workers and vendors who performs skilled and semiskilled labor/services in the repair and maintenance of Health Department Facilities.
The Eligible List established by this recruitment process may be used Countywide to fill current and future vacancies on a regular fulltime parttime or temporary basis.

Any combination of training education and/or experience which provides the knowledge skills and abilities and required conditions of employment is qualifying. An example of a way these requirements might be acquired is:
Experience: Four years of full time paid work experience in the crafts/mechanical trades field performing installation repair and/or maintenance on mechanical equipment in a commercial and/or industrial setting including one year of supervisory or lead experience within the building trades
OR
A combination of training education and experience that is equivalent to the minimum qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
