This is a fulltime position that works 8a 5p Monday to Friday during the centers operational hours. The pay is $14 5 per hour depending on experience and qualifications such as DCF mandated 45 hours.This position is onsite at our center located: 207 Emerson Dr. NW Palm Bay FL 32907
As a 2 yearold Toddler Teacher youll play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of children. You will plan and implement an engaging ageappropriate curriculum that fosters their social emotional cognitive and physical development. By creating a dynamic classroom environment filled with creative play and handson activities youll nurture curiosity build confidence and support each childs growth. In addition to guiding learning youll foster meaningful connections with families celebrating milestones and making a lasting impact during this critical stage of development.
What Youll Do:
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
Lead by example fostering a collaborative teaching team through modeling coaching and encouragement.
Plan individual and group ageappropriate activities that stimulate social cognitive and emotional development.
Create opportunities for handson exploration and sensory experiences that are crucial for this age group.
Develop routines that promote independence and selfhelp skills such as potty training and basic hygiene.
Engage with families through regular communication and participation in parentteacher conferences to discuss each childs progress.
Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement in your teaching practices.
What We Need from You:
High School Diploma and/or GED or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
FL DCF 45 hours required with willingness to obtain CDA within 6 months of employment
FL DCF Transcript Please send transcript to You can retrieve the transcript from clear a level II DCF background check
At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience and 1 year of childcare experiencepreferred
CPR Certification and Child Development Associate Certification preferred
