As a Logistics Project Manager you evaluate and engage best methods for shipping domestic and international freight including bulk and break bulk shipments. You will handle negotiations and RFQs developing positive relationships with internal departments carriers freight forwarders shipping industry leaders and others involved while proactively tracking shipping statuses staying current with industry changes and knowledgeable of compliance regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics or related is a plus
- 5 years of experience in logistics position dealing with bulk and break bulk loads domestic and internationally
- Possess deep knowledge of international customs and trade regulations
- Experience with compliance in trade regulations
- Experience with pursuing updates in industry through conferences seminars etc.
- Experience in heavy construction power industry or energy industry
- Experience with negotiating pricing terms and conditions for contracts
