Job Description
- Boys Varsity Soccer Coach responsible for instructing players in the rules regulations equipment and techniques of the game of Soccer. Must have coaching experience.
- Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises.
- Assesses players skills monitors players during competition and practice and keeps the Athletic Director informed of the athletic performance of students.
- Develop game strategies.
- Follows established procedures in the event of an athletes injury.
- Model sportslike behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players officials and spectators.
- Maintain the soccer equipment storage in an orderly condition and assumes responsibility for its security.
- Distributes equipment supplies and uniforms to players.
- Submit a list of awards winners at the end of the season to Athletic Director.
- Participates in special activities to include parents night banquet award nights and pep assemblies.
- Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
- Monitor student athletes eligibility
- Reports all emergencies and injuries to Athletic Director
- Attends staff development meetings clinics and other professional activities to improve coaching performances.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned by Athletic Director & Principal or other appropriate administrator.
