DescriptionPRIMARYPURPOSE:
TheprimarydutyoftheSecurityAssistant ShiftManageristooversee andmanageemployeesassignedtohis/her shift.Thisposition ensures that operations are staffed efficiently ensures that employees perform to established expectations and promotes a safe environment for guests and employees; all duties are performed within the companys policies and procedures and applicable gaming and state laws.

ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managesecurityofficersdepartment operations andsupport staffincludinginterviewinghiring creating employeeschedules implementing approved procedures training and evaluating officers enforcing policy and administering disciplineandcoachingasneeded. Developdirect staff plan workassignmentsand providestationcoverage.
- Overseeguestandemployeesafetybypromotingasafeandsecureenvironmentandimplementingandenforcingstate andlocaljurisdiction regulatoryandcompany policiesandprocedures.
- Actasaliaisonwiththeappropriateoutsideagenciesduringsecurityincidents.
- Assistmanagementwithonsiteinvestigations;coordinate and supervise onsite investigationsasdeemednecessary.
- Monitorandsupport securityrelatedprocessing.
- Ensure guest questions and concerns are addressed immediately either personally or by contacting the appropriate departmentormemberofmanagementtoobtaintheanswertothequestion orobtainassistanceinresolvingtheconcern.
- Respondtoguest andemployeeemergenciesandreportedthreats documentincidentsandensureproper escalationfor reporting and resolution purposes.
- Performotherjobrelateddutiesasrequested.
QualificationsMINIMUMREQUIREMENTS:
- Highschool diplomaorequivalent.
- Two 2 years of direct security experience in a highend resort/casino environment or law enforcement and/or militaryexperiencewithprevioussupervisoryexperienceorinateamleadercapacity.
- Workvariedshiftsincludingweekendsandholidays.
CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Gaming Permit as applicable to jurisdiction.
- Valid state issued drivers license.
KNOWLEDGESKILLS ANDABILITIES:
- Ability tomaintainprofessionalismandmasterleadershipabilities
- Knowledge andunderstandingofresortcasinoand/or hospitality investigation
- Proficiencyincomputer softwareincludingOutlook MSWordExcelandPowerPointaswellasofficeequipmenti.e. telephone copier fax machine
- Excellentcustomerservice skillsandinterpersonalskillstoeffectivelycommunicatewithallbusinesscontacts.

WORKINGCONDITIONS:
