Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant QA Automation
We are looking for a talented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team product managers and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and automate test cases.
Responsibilities
Design plan and execute test cases scenarios and scripts for ETL validation and regression testing.
Verify and validate data accuracy completeness and consistency using ETL tools and SQL queries.
Create and maintain test cases scripts and documentation in test management tools such as JIRA
Collaborate with developers data analysts and business stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements for ETL testing.
Identify document and report defects issues and risks related to ETL testing.
Conduct root cause analysis on any issues that arise during testing and provide recommendations for remediation.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to help understand business and functional requirements test scenarios .
Collaborate with development teams to define testing requirements identify defects and track resolution.
Establish QA metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of testing processes and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure effective communication between crossfunctional teams keeping stakeholders informed about progress and challenges.
Identify opportunities to enhance processes related to QA domain knowledge management and business analysis within the compliance domain..
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Anti Money Laundering (AML) Trade Surveillance and in general compliance knowledge.
Able to execute functional as well as technical test cases of the application.
Knowledge of QA automation frameworks and test suites for UI and nonUI based applications using Selenium Web driver with Java or Python.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica.
Knowledge of triggering batch jobs using Autosys or similar tools.
Experience with dev ops tools JIRA Zephyr for JIRA Jenkins Git or Visual Studio.
Experience working in AWS Cloud environment.
Added advantage to experience with Actimize Quantexa system
