Job Description
The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects offinancial management including publishing accurate monthly financial reportsdeveloping annual budgets and ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatoryrequirements. The candidate will manage treasury functions with a focus on cashflow lead construction accounting efforts including draw packages and WIPaccounting and partner with both internal teams and external firms to improveoperational efficiency. Collaboration with construction and retail leadershipis essential to drive cost control and financial performance. Additional dutiesinclude leading bank and loan negotiationsimplementing process improvements and advising on financial strategies forlongterm sustainability and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field is required. MBA strongly preferred.
- CPA (preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting.
- 3 years of public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of real estate and/or construction accounting.
- Proven ability to prepare analyze and present financial statements to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
