Job Description Summary
As an Engineer Thermosciences you will collaboratively execute technology programs in development and research of advanced thermal design of medical devices. You will interact with technologists and engineers to develop and deliver novel solutions for complex multidisciplinary problems for GE Healthcare.GE Healthcare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Apply your knowledge in heat transfer fluid flow to develop innovative thermal solutions for the GE Healthcare products.
Participate in a team framework on multigeneration technology programs to enable future design advancements while independently executing tasks leveraging your technical skills.
Involve in Advanced modeling and simulation including highfidelity analyses with opportunities for inhouse code development.
Develop and implement hardware for testing and validation where applicable
Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience .
Fundamental knowledge in any of the following areas: Heat Transfer / Fluid Mechanics
Understanding of wide concepts and designs of heat exchangers/ heat pipe
Experience in using commercial software (ANSYS Fluent ICEPACK)
Experience of using CAD software such as Creo to build assembly models.
Ability to design execute analyze experimental data.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new unfamiliar technology areas and to abstract system level concepts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
