Job Description

Class Summary



The Meal Compliance Program Leader will be responsible for compliance with the Summer Meals Program. Supervise Meal Program Assistants Volunteers and Interns. Serve meals inventory meals and supplies set up and break down tables and chairs provide supervision of patrons during meal service and ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility. Responsible for reporting attendance and other problems to the program sponsor compliance with civil rights laws and regulations attending training sessions.

The position is seasonal requiring 30 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 16 years old
  • General laborer experience customer service food service and/or janitorial maintenance preferred.
  • The season will run from May 28th through August2nd.
    • Monday Friday 56 hours daily (between the hours of 9am & 2pm)
  • Must be able to work 20 to 30 hours per week to including the following:
    • May 21st (evening orientation/training)
    • June 19th Holiday
    • July 4thHoliday
  • Communication interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers supervisor the general public etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Physical requirements:
  • Stooping reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting grasping talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
