Department Description:

The University of San Diegos International Center serves as a gateway to all internationallyrelated activities both on and offcampus. The Center is comprised of two main offices: The Office of International Students and Scholars and the Office of International Studies Abroad. Each office works collaboratively across campus to provide support for study abroad programs as well as provide oversight for the immigration and documentation process for international students and scholars.

Detailed Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversight of daytoday office operations related to international programming:

Manager Oversight Serve as direct supervisor to all International Studies Abroad Managers 5 total):

General Program Oversight Facilitate and oversee management of all study abroad programs related to undergraduate and graduate students:

Degree Verification Requirement: Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of three years relevant experience required.
  • Must have personal study research or work abroad experience.
  • Second language proficiency highly recommended.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (either in progress or completed) preferred.

  • Familiar and comfortable in working with students
  • Being flexible and versatile in coping with evolving global and local situations
  • Being able to handle the stress of lastminute deadlines and changes
  • Ability to assume responsibility and effectively resolve problems by exercising independent judgment

  • Interacting with professionals in the business/offcampus community
Posting Salary:

$6447 $6792 per month; Excellent Benefits

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience education and other factors including departmental budget.
