About the Role
We are recruiting a Yard Operator to work at our Hallam site with a position available in our bark & mulch/soil yard. The Yard Operator is a multiskilled role that is responsible for operating plant equipment and vehicles contributing to the daytoday functionality and operational requirements of the yard.
This is a 12month fixedterm fulltime role with an immediate start available. This position is rostered for our day shift which is Monday Friday 6:00am 4:00pm. Candidates must be willing to work additional hours to meet the operational requirements of the business where needed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operating frontend loaders excavators forklifts and other equipment
- Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard
- Complete prestarts
- Raise notification and report equipment defects
- Operating other machines you are licensed for as required
- Be committed to up skilling themselves and participate in training provided
- Proficient loading equipment and multitasking
- Proficient loading truck safely and efficiently
About You
The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:
- Front end loader ticket with experience
- Excavator license
- Forklift ticket with experience
- Whitecard
- Australian Drivers License
- Right to Work in Australia
- Team player who can work well with others
- Police check and preemployment medical including alcohol and drug screening (to be completed during the recruitment process).
