Job Description

About the role
In this permanent part time role you will be providing a clinical nutrition service to Palliative Care Aged Care and/or Rehabilitation patients across Calvarys inpatient or community services.
Your main duties will include:
- Plan coordinate and deliver high quality Dietetic care to patients/clients of the Calvary Health Care Kogarah
- The clinical dietitian is required to undertake quality improvement activities education and training aimed at furthering the objectives of the position and department.
About you
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians AustraliaPost graduate experience in aged care rehabilitation and/or palliative care and good knowledge of current Dietetic Practices.Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters commensurate with years of experienceDemonstrated knowledge of and commitment to quality improvement to improve service delivery and enhance patient care along with excellent written oral and interpersonal communication skills.Willingness to participate in a clinical supervision program with demonstrated ability to develop own systems for improving practiceDemonstrated computer literacy with ability to easily learn new softwareUnencumbered Current Drivers Licence (Class C)Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
