Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Position: Sales Consultant (Appliances)
Ref: 5004
Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: R16000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience company vehicle for travelling company cellphone annual performance bonus 50 medical aid Pension fund contribution life insurance cover
Working hours: 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM Monday to Friday overtime if required
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Candidates should be of a mature nature that can work and perform under pressure
- Technical knowledge/experience are essential
- Excellent communicator with proven experience
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook Word and Excel. CRM and or accounting software experience will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar environment/position
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- Must have demonstrated the ability to be a keen learner with a make it happen attitude
- Must be fast learner and must be able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Quality and productivity focused
- Valid drivers license
Key Performance Areas:
- Equipment/machinery includes but is not limited to commercial and industrial washing machines tumble dryers ironing equipment and a range of industrial catering equipment such as ovens fryers cookers fridges/freezers etc
- Phones to be answered immediately and professionally
- Promote sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationshipbased approach
- Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s) and services(s) to existing and potential customers and to assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
- Enquiries logged immediately and all info to be accurately recorded on the system
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within the companys client base and generate new leads
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits quote prices discuss credit terms and prepare reports
- Build and foster a network of referrals and create new opportunities
- Generate and develop new customer accounts by cold calling
- Ensure that follow ups are done to quotes.
- Actively manage and schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a timeefficient manner
- Maintain professionalism tact diplomacy and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
- Use marketing data by using applicable sales management software tools to maximise sales efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records including sales call reports and expenses
- Quotes to be completed accurately and sent to customer same day
- Orders values and order numbers must be captured on the system
- Etiquette to be always wellmannered
- Handle queries as far as possible to resolve
