Your Opportunity
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Fulltime Indigenous Health Worker/Practitioner to join our dedicated Maternal and Child Health team. In this rewarding role you will work closely with children and families providing essential care and support. The position offers a Monday to Friday work schedule ensuring a healthy worklife balance. We are looking for a compassionate experienced individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of Indigenous communities promoting health and wellbeing for both mothers and children. Join us in providing culturally sensitive care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your Contribution
This position is responsible for delivering direct care by promoting and coordinating clinical healthcare services for children and families within the Maternal and Child Health Service. It will ensure that children and families have access to culturally safe care and the necessary support systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Required Qualifications and Experience
Required Licenses and Checks
Ability to pass a National Police Check no Serious/Criminal/Court Records
Current Blue Card (Queenslands Working with Children Check) (or AHPRA registration if required)
Current C Class Drivers Licence (Qld)
Proof of qualifications and current registration (as appropriate) are to be provided prior to commencement of employment
Current First Aid and CPR
