Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to champion the control and analysis of an issue from definition of root cause through to resolution using problem solving activities and facilitating crossfunctional team involvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support Strategic Engineering Teams (SET) with commodity aligned expertise and formal tracking relevant to complexity.
- Lead chronic and complex problemsolving investigations using standard methodologies to determine:
Accurate problem definition
Immediate containment
Root cause analysis & Champion assignment / buy in
Sponsorship through to Permanent corrective actions.
- Coach mentor and develop others in key areas of the business with problem solving processes utilisation
- Capture lessons learnt for review and integration to new projects
Qualification & Experience:
- In depth experience of complex problem resolution using proven problemsolving tools and techniques
- High luxury automotive experience
- Demonstrable evidence of teamworking and influencing those based outside own department
- CAD
- Reading Drawings
- Metrology
- Time served experience in Quality and Production in a trim and final environment
- Lean manufacturing methods and techniques
- Experience in: GD&T Body in white Trim and Final Interior and exterior trim Powertrain Electrical
- Quality problem solving tools and techniques
- Engineering/Manufacturing degree
Behaviours:
