Why do we want you
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious Senior Event Producer to join our team at Wilmington Events part of Wilmington plc.
You will be responsible for producing 45 flagship events per year working closely with our marketleading brands ICA and Axco. Your expertise in revenue growth market research and content development will be crucial to expanding our portfolio.
Wilmington Events is an ambitious and agile events business with the backing of a strong and stable Plc. Established in 2022 we have delivered doubledigit growth for two consecutive years and are now driving forward an ambitious threeyear plan.
In 2024 alone we successfully delivered 35 webinars and 15 events across major global locations including London Miami Singapore Munich Tokyo Amsterdam and New York. Our portfolio includes five flagship events three industryleading conferences and two prestigious awards ceremonies.

Job purpose tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Producing 45 highquality events per year delivering commercially viable content that meets market needs.
- Conducting detailed market research including telephone interviews with key stakeholders to identify trends themes and opportunities.
- Developing and managing event agendas awards categories speaker lineups and judging panels.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing sales and operations to ensure event success.
- Writing compelling value propositions that highlight customer benefits and drive engagement.
- Identifying potential sponsors and initiating contact to support business development efforts.
- Project managing events from concept to completion ensuring deadlines and revenue targets are met.

Essential and desirable capabilities
To be successful in this role you must have / be:
- Proven experience in B2B event production with demonstrable success in delivering doubledigit revenue growth.
- Experience in conference and awards production with a strong understanding of commercial business practices.
- Expertise in conducting market research to identify relevant sponsors and writing commercially viable content.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams to deliver successful events.
To be successful in this role it would be great if you have:
- A degreelevel qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with sales CRM systems such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
- A proactive and resultsdriven mindset with strong project management skills.
