Our client is a certified woman owned small business established in 2015 in Columbia MD. They specialize in cyber security operations and engineering software development data science and analytic development security engineering risk management and cloud migration. This client offers extremely competitive benefits: fullypaid medical benefits 4 weeks PTO 6 401k over 5k for training and pay for every hour worked. The Role
Were seeking a skilled Software Engineer that focuses on designing and developing Javabased software solutions for complex systems. The role involves working in a hybrid environment in Columbia MD with up to 25 CONUS travel (primarily to San Antonio TX). The ideal candidate will have strong Java skills experience with modern software development practices (APIs microservices Agile) and familiarity with Linux and configuration management. A DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification (like Security) is required and a current TS/SCI is required for consideration. The salary range for this role is $175K$250K.
What youll bring:
Technical BS and 5 years in Software Engineering
Strong Java development skills
Experience with enterprise APIs and RESTful web services
Experience with microservices and OOP
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience with the Linux OS
Configuration Management: Experience with Git Nexus Maven
Must have a qualifying DoD 8140/8570 certification (e.g. Security) for consideration.
Clearance Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
Location
Hybrid schedule in Columbia MD 12 days per week onsite) with up to 25 CONUS travel to San Antonio TX customer site.
