Job Description

Are you ready to develop cuttingedge software solutions for industrial door systems At ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems were looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our R&D team. In this role you will play a key role in designing developing testing and maintaining software solutions that enhance the efficiency and functionality of our industrial door systems. This role is based in Landskrona Sweden with a hybrid working model.

What you would do as Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Developer you will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to plan and deliver highquality software solutions. You will define software requirements execute development tasks and contribute to system improvements. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on realtime embedded systems and be part of exciting new projects that push the boundaries of technology. Also you will review existing systems and propose innovative improvements.

You would also:

  • Develop detailed specifications and write robust efficient program code.
  • Conduct rigorous testing in controlled environments before system deployment.
  • Support in maintaining and enhancing software architecture documentation.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers ensuring best practices are followed.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 5 years of experience embedded software development with a strong background in C/C programming for realtime embedded systems.
  • Experience working with RTOS for safetycritical applications.
  • Experience in python battery management motor control and CAN protocol is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment demonstrating strong adaptability and problemsolving skills. They have excellent communication and teamwork abilities enabling them to collaborate effectively across teams. Knowledge of STM32 processor family and experience with functional safety is a plus.
