Job Description

What started as the largest denim launch in history has evolved into an iconic and inclusive fashion line of denim readytowear swim shoes and activewear.
Reporting to the Sr Director of Merchandising the Assistant Merchandiser will support the development and of product strategies that align with sales goals and brand vision. This position will assist in managing the daytoday operations of merchandising across all channels ensuring products meet consumer needs and are aligned with current market trends. The Assistant Merchandiser will help drive product assortment maintain consistency and execute plans that support the brands overarching strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Support Product Merchandising Strategy:Assist in developing and executing the product merchandising strategy by analyzing customer trends and ensuring products align with consumer preferences and sales goals across all channels.
- Trend & Market Analysis:Monitor market trends sales data and competitor activity to identify product opportunities and improvements within the merchandising strategy.
- Assist in Product Lifecycle Management:Help manage the lifecycle of key items and franchise products from concept through ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Collaboration Across Teams:Work closely with crossfunctional teams including design marketing sales and production to support the development and launch of products that align with the brands messaging and positioning.
- Inventory & Assortment Management:Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and ensuring that the product assortment is aligned with consumer demand and sales targets.
- Data Management:Help compile and analyze product performance data assisting in developing reports and recommendations for future product offerings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Merchandising Experience:Minimum of 24 years of experience in merchandising or retail ideally within a fastpaced omnichannel environment.
- Analytical Mindset:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data customer feedback and market trends to help inform product decisions.
- Collaborative Attitude:Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams including design marketing and sales to execute merchandising strategies and meet objectives.
- DetailOriented & Organized:Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and present merchandising recommendations.
- Fashion & Consumer Trends Knowledge:A keen interest in fashion current market trends and consumer preferences to contribute insights for product assortments.
Please note that this role requires to be onsite four days a week.
