Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software development supervisor to lead a team of talented software developers. In this role you will be responsible for guiding the team and designing developing and maintaining highquality software solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the team adheres to best practices meets project deadlines and contributes to the overall success of the company.



Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Ensure the team adheres to clean code practices and coding standards.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software releases.
  • Utilize Jira and Jama for project management issue tracking and requirements management.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including controls engineers and hardware engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of ASILcompliant software for lowvoltage automotive power supply and management systems.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest technologies and trends in software development.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degreein computer science electrical engineering software engineering computer engineering or relateddisciplines
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of software developers.

Required Skills

  • CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with building managing and optimizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines. This includes automating the software build test and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable releases.
  • Git/GitHub: Proficiency in using Git for version control including branching merging and conflict resolution. Experience with Github for code hosting collaboration and pull request workflows.
  • Jira: Experience using Jira for project management task tracking and issue resolution. This includes creating and managing projects setting up workflows and generating reports.
  • Clean Code Practices: A strong understanding of clean code principles including writing readable maintainable and testable code. This includes following coding standards using meaningful names and avoiding code duplication.
  • Controls Engineering: Familiarity with the principles of controls engineering including feedback control systems PID controllers and system modeling. This knowledge will be used to develop software for controlling and monitoring physical systems.
  • Microcontrollers: Experience with programming microcontrollers including embedded C/C programming realtime operating systems (RTOS) and communication protocols (e.g. SPI I2C CAN Automotive Ethernet).

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters degreein systems engineering electrical engineering software engineering computer engineering or relateddisciplines
  • Vehicle electrical and software systems:good understanding
  • Jama: Experience with Jama for requirements management traceability and collaboration. This includes creating and managing requirements linking them to design and test artifacts and generating compliance reports.
  • Automotive Power Supply Systems Engineering: Knowledge of power supply systems including ACDC converters DCDC converters and power management techniques. This knowledge will be used to develop software for controlling and monitoring power supply systems.
  • Power Electronics: Understanding of power electronic components and circuits including MOSFETs IGBTs and diodes. This knowledge will be used to develop software for controlling and monitoring power electronic devices.
  • ASIL Software Development: Experience developing software according to Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) standards such as ISO 26262. This includes understanding safety requirements implementing safety mechanisms and performing safety analyses.
  • AUTOSAR Expertise:Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture methodology and specifications and tools.
  • Excellent written oral andinterpersonalcommunication skills
