Were looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Product Manager to motivate drivers to be safer more efficient and compliant on the road through delightful and engaging experiences.
This is a rare opportunity to gamify the operations industrya largely untapped space with enormous potential to revolutionize frontline work. Youll define the strategy vision and roadmap for this brandnew area designing gameinspired mechanics that recognize and reward drivers for their hard work. In this role you will:
- Build and execute on a gamification strategy for the operations industry and work with customers to bring this to life
- Work with our talented engineering and design teams to rapidly develop and launch new software features across our mobile web and API interfaces
- Work hand in hand with our customers to deeply understand their operations and what features will improve driver engagement and retention
- Seek improvements to improve the practice of product management at Samsara to help drive hypergrowth at scale.
- Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural values (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Deep expertise in product management (minimum 6 years) with a proven track record of operating & delivering as a team.
- Expertise in building gamification elements (e.g. leaderboards challenges rewards programs engagement loops) to drive user engagement and motivation.
- A curious and strategic mindset ability to synthesize customer insights and data into a cohesive strategy and product roadmap independently.
- Strong technical understanding ability to grasp technical concepts and establish credibility with engineers.
- A proven trackrecord of delivering outstanding results with a bias to for customers & the business managing significant complexity & aggressive timelines. You also have a biastoaction and arent afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers executives and internal audiences adjusting your communication style based on your audience.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field; an MBA is a plus.
- An appreciation for designing products features and frameworks for users with varying levels of technological expertise.
- Entrepreneurial experience.
