Description
About the Role:
As a Speech Pathologist with Down South Therapy youll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. Youll work closely with children adults and families to assess diagnose and treat speech language and communication disorders. Your role will involve developing and implementing individualised treatment plans collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and contributing to community outreach initiatives.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Multiple roles with options to be based at a school for 3 5 days per week or to have a combination of community and schoolbased clientssupporting children teenagers and adults
- Provide 1:1 and group therapy collaborating with teachers and families
- Develop and deliver individualised therapy plans in a transdisciplinary team
- Work within locationbased schedules to limit travel and maximise client impact
- Option to add communitybased clients to expand your clinical interests
- Take part in weekly supervision and mentoring to grow in your role
- Contribute to projects team learning and innovation in your area of interest
Skills And Experiences
What Were Looking For:
- Passionate about helping clients reach their full potential through engaging therapy
- Experience in clientcentred and familycentred practice
- Strong organisational and timemanagement skills
- High communication skills advocacy mediation and collaboration
Youll Need:
Degree in Speech Pathology & current SPA registration
WWC Check NDIS Worker Screening National Police Check
Valid Drivers Licence mobile service means we come to our clients
