Job Description Summary

The Executive Assistant will provide high level administrative support for company leaders to ensure they can deliver on their priorities by executing calendar and meeting management booking travel completing expense reports supporting efficient team operations and ensuring confidential information stays private. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations and company priorities.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides primary support for the MICT VP of Supply Chain Team as well as the Waukesha and Electric Avenue manufacturing sites in all related administrative tasks. Produces correspondence presentations meeting agendas emails coordinates domestic and international travel processes expense reports new hire employee onboarding processing purchase orders and supports meetings and any external mailings.

  • Broad knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy and strategy. May include supporting roles with specialized technical field of knowledge while continuously acquiring higherlevel knowledge and skills.

  • Basic understanding of key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • A job at this level requires great interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team.

  • Coordinates inperson events. Inperson events may include team meetings internal or external workshops and high complexity or executive level meetings with external customers or collaborators.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED);

  • 3 years experience in assisting leaders and working with diverse teams
  • You are digital savvy and can master Microsoft Office tools including Outlook Teams PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of Smartsheet is desirable but not essential.
  • A high degree of selfmanagement organizational skills and an excellent communicator
  • Excellent attention to detail including spelling grammar and formatting to ensure quality and accuracy of all outputs
  • Experience of managing a busy workload including complex and competing priorities whilst remaining organized and professional working to deadlines and sometimes delivering under pressure
  • Knowledge and/or interest in LEAN methods and standard work always working from a LEAN mindset. Proactively driving continuous improvement whilst demonstrating a behavior of thinking ahead of the curve
  • Capable of fostering close working relationships
  • Ability to provide absolute security for highly confidential information and to maintain the confidentiality of extremely sensitive information
  • Onsite support not a remote position.

Additional Information

While GE HealthCare does not currently require U.S. employees to be vaccinated against COVID19 some GE HealthCare customers have vaccination mandates that may apply to certain GE HealthCare employees.
