We are looking for an experienced and motivational Transactional Finance Manager to join our Finance team where you will lead manage and develop your team. In this pacey varied role you will use your finance skills and knowledge in all areas of purchase ledger including cash book and employee expenses to deliver a world class service to both internal and external customers.
I enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive Purchase Ledger Team where my work really matters. My role is fast paced and varied; theres never a dull moment. I get to speak with colleagues and budget holders across our business and have built strong working relationships with our suppliers. I particularly like to solve problems handle queries and learn new processes and Im really excited to welcome our Transactional Finance Manager to our team.

Our Transactional Finance Manager will:
Lead coach and develop your payables team setting SMART objectives and goals
Handle month end and year end procedures and support with annual audit
Ensure the smooth running of the Purchase Ledger department by coordinating tasks within your team and being hands on with purchase invoices resolving invoice and payment queries and coding
Develop and drive process improvements in our new purchase to pay system and across the department
Ensure payments are made correctly in multiple currencies
Reconcile account balances and bank accounts
Manage a variety of payment requests and queries
Process company expenses and credit cards
Provide management reporting
Cover for payroll if you have previous experience
Our Transactional Finance Manager will bring:
A minimum of 3 years purchase ledger cash book experience and team management experience
Knowledge Sage 50 QuickBooks and ERP and working with automated finance systems would be advantageous
Payroll experience is desirable
GCSE Maths and English Grade A*C
