Job Description
Blue Canyon Technologies RTXs small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider is solving some of the toughest challenges in space. BCT is looking for aManufacturing Engineer Internto join our BCT Summer in Space Internship Program.Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. This will be a fulltime position for the summer for approximately 11 weeks starting at the end of May 2025.
Title:Manufacturing Engineer Intern
Position Type:Summer Internship
Pay Range:$27.56 or $29.29/hour (Salary rate to be determined by the education explained in interview)
Location: Boulder CO
Job Responsibilities:
Investigate manufacturing related defects to determine root cause and corrective action.
Provide handson support for product and process development on Spacecraft and Spacecraft Components
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams including manufacturing design and test engineering functions to translate designs into assembly processes and instructions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree from a fouryear university. Must be working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
Handson skills such as soldering mechanical assembly electromechanical integration 3D printing machining etc.
Position Details:
- Approximate 11 week paid internship 5/27/2025 8/8/2025
- 40 hours per week
- No relocation assistance
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners filing cabinets and fax machines.BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date thenotice was posted.
