Job Description
A Fire Draughtsman is wanted! Design lifesaving fire protection systems and advance your career with a leading fire consulting firm.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Fire Draughtsman you will create detailed fire protection system drawings including sprinklers hydrants and detection systems. Youll ensure that designs comply with SANS 10400T and NFPA standards collaborate with Engineers and project teams and revise drawings as needed. Your role is crucial to delivering accurate compliant fire safety solutions for various building projects.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Diploma or Certification in Draughting (AutoCAD/Revit proficiency required).
- Minimum 3 years as a Fire Draughtsman in the fire consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection system designs (sprinklers hydrants detection) and SANS 10400T/NFPA standards.
- AutoCAD experience required; Revit is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and with Engineers Project Managers and clients.
