Job Description
Position : Contingent Maintenance Worker
Location : Saint Louis MO
Duration : 3 Months Contract
Shift timings : 1st shift Mon. Thurs. 6AM 4:30PM with OT as needed
Total Hours/week : 40.00
Description:
- Support production of V. Mueller and Snowden Pencer product lines and equipment/facility
- Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment including mechanical systems. Disassemble select repair procedure order parts as needed and repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools
- Performs preventative maintenance operations including safety and environmental systems as prescribed by system
- Perform routine carpentry and related work involved in maintaining the facility
- Operates within and adheres to general plant rules and policies governing workplace performance and Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Performance of operations which require finite motor skills and manual dexterity.
- Movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds from one area to another.
- Posture is primarily standing/walking with bending and limited sitting and twisting.
- Visual acuity to detect subtle visual nonconformities.
- Install new facility LED lightening from man lift 23 up in air
- Clean facility equipment wipe down
- Clean facility overhead walls utilities including air lines electrical and duct work
- Organize maintenance mezzanine and department dispose of obsolete materials label needed supplies to quickly locate
- Demo old equipment that is duplicated with new system and relocate bulk oil storage equipment to new location
