About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a thorough and efficient Head Housekeeper to assist with managing property housekeeping operations. If training and motivating other housekeepers comes easy for you we want to hear from you!

Primary Duties:
  • Team Lead: Train and provide guidance to staff. Discuss staff performance discrepancies and training needs with General Manager and attend and lead staff huddles.
  • Exceed Cleaning Standards: Perform routine guest room preps and cleanings while meeting minute per room labor standards maintaining public areas and inspecting rooms daily according to quality standards.
  • Guest Relations: Offer hotel amenities products and services to accommodate guest needs and increase revenues.
  • Teamwork: Flexible for covering employee shifts as needed to ensure operational continuity in the event of unexpected absences. Assist with laundry duties as needed. Communicate any maintenance work orders to maintenance and/or management.
  • Emergency Procedures: Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of hotel supplies including linen terry cleaning supplies room supplies etc.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in hotel leadership including housekeeping.
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Excellent organizational time management and problemsolving abilities.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Proactive in solving problems.
Physical Requirements:
  • Repetitive climbing of stairs and occasionally ladders.
  • Perform tasks involving kneeling squatting standing sitting bending and twisting for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift push pull up to 20lbs regularly occasionally up to 50lbs.
