Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers reading and listening to people to determine food and beverage preferences making recommendations upselling and taking orders
- Deliver all beverages in a timely fashion
- Running food whenever needed to both your tables and your teammates
- Maintain cleanliness organization and appearance of your section
- Collect customer payments and provide a change in a timely and courteous manner
- Previous experience as a server
- Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu as well as daily/weekly specials
- General knowledge of wine cocktails and beer
- Ability to stand walk and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
- Must have a courteous friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Handling cash credit and debit card transactions ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons
- Availability to work nights weekends and holidays.
- Positive engaging personality and professional appearance.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong task and time management abilities
- Ability to stand walk bend etc. for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
