Role Overview
The TM1 Project Manager for upgrading a Planning Analytics system will oversee the entire upgrade process ensuring its completed on time within scope and on budget. This includes managing the project from planning and requirements gathering to testing and golive support. They will coordinate with stakeholders including IT business teams and vendors to align system enhancements with business needs including developing new features and customising the system.
The PM will also assist with ongoing support and training helping users understand system functionality and troubleshoot issues. Theyll create training materials run sessions and provide documentation to ensure a smooth transition and maximise the new systems capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee data migration ensuring accurate transfer validation and reconciliation of data from legacy systems to the upgraded Planning Analytics platform.
- Coordinate training for the project team SMEs end users and TM1 admins including creating materials and delivering sessions to ensure effective system adoption.
- Lead testing coordination ensuring comprehensive testing across all system components and overseeing user acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
- Manage change management strategies minimising disruption and facilitating a smooth transition to the upgraded system.
- Oversee cutover activities and ensure a seamless golive process followed by managing the hypercare phase to address any postgolive issues.
- Provide ongoing support for businessasusual (BAU) activities ensuring system stability troubleshooting and continuous optimisation of the Planning Analytics platform.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for the TM1 Project Manager role will have extensive experience managing Planning Analytics (TM1 upgrades including data migration system testing and user training. They should possess strong project management skills capable of leading crossfunctional teams managing stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The candidate must also have experience in change management smooth cutovers and postgolive support including hypercare and businessasusual activities. Excellent communication problemsolving and adaptability are essential to effectively support diverse user groups and manage evolving business requirements.
