Apartner hospital in Brandon FL is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled veterinarian to provide topnotch patient care while managing a strong veterinary team in a modern and supportive environment.
Responsibilities of the Lead Veterinarian:
- Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to animals including diagnosis treatment and surgery.
- Surgical and Procedural Care: Perform surgeries and various medical procedures.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the veterinary team ensuring highquality care and efficient operations.
- Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients.
- Client Education: Educate clients on proper pet care and treatment options.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager and leadership team to ensure goals are met and maintain the hospitals high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMAaccredited college.
- At least 5 years of experience as a veterinarian.
- Strong clinical skills and handson experience in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
- Active license in good standing to practice in Florida or the ability to obtain one.
