POSITION SUMMARY
The Imaging Navigator is responsible for implementing the navigation program as it pertains to Imaging results incidental findings followup and scheduling in the Radiology division. The navigator works closely with the multidisciplinary team to navigate Imaging services across the care continuum including followup of results to primary care physicians for incidental findings and scheduling additional studies after notification to appropriate providers. The Imaging navigator will monitor and communicate incidental findings from the Inflow worklist that populates recommendations based on radiology reports. The navigator helps providers by notification of specific findings and aids in the scheduling and additional followup of imaging exams.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
RN
Minimum Experience
2 years experience in an ambulatory setting
Required Registration/License/Certification
RN
BLS within3 months
ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
PALS within 90 days of hire/transfer
Preferred Education
BSN
Preferred Experience
Prior experience as a navigator caseworker or management
Project or program development and management experience
