Job Description
Location: Pinetown KwaZuluNatal
Position Overview:
Join our clients team as a Sub Agent with Hire Resolve where youll be instrumental in overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure successful completion within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Agent in supervising and managing construction sites.
- Contribute to project planning and programming to enhance production efficiency.
- Coordinate with stakeholders such as architects engineers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Manage project finances including cost control and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates to the Site Agent and project team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent in civil engineering.
- Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP.
- Minimum 5 years of contracting experience in construction.
- Previous experience as a Sub Agent or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of labor management in a construction environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
