Job Description
While candidates in all areas related to Mechanical Engineering will be considered the preference will be given to those candidates whose research lies within the fields of 1 Fluid Mechanics & Thermal Sciences and 2 Dynamics Vibrations & Acoustics and aligns with one or more of the following focus areas: Energy Transportation and Sustainability; Health Innovation and Human Resilience; Cyberinfrastructure Machine Learning AI and Data Science. The Department and College are committed to fostering interdisciplinary research that can address grand challenges facing our society and innovate through a balance of fundamental and translational research. Collaboration with entities outside engineering and science is also highly encouraged.
Ph.D. in Mechanical Thermal Power or other closely related field of Engineering
