Band 6 Locum General Radiographer

Working Hours:

Pay Rate: 26.00 27.00 P/H

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in East London. This ongoing monthbymonth rolling contract offers a competitive pay rate of 2627 per hour with working hours from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm Monday to Friday. The role is available for an immediate start providing an excellent opportunity for a radiographer to work in a supportive and dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Band 6 Locum General Radiographer you will be responsible for performing a variety of general radiographic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate advanced radiographic equipment ensuring the production of highquality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Your duties will include adhering to established protocols and safety standards maintaining detailed and accurate records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficient operation of the radiology department. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging services and support junior staff members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Relevant experience as a General Radiographer preferably at Band 6 level.
  • Proficiency in using modern radiographic equipment and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care and ongoing professional development.
