Description
Job Summary:
This Position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving customer loyalty quality and overall satisfaction by servicing programming configuring dismantling reconstructing converting and troubleshooting existing security and site automation solutions. This includes but is not limited to fire carbon monoxide detection networking hosted video solutions and access control.
Essential Functions:
- Install alarm systems to include CCTV for residential and commercial businesses
- Perform extensive programming on alarm and CCTV systems
- Mount equipment; test existing equipment
- Demonstrate equipment functions and use to customer
- Communicate with Outside Sales Representatives in a professional manner
- Review work orders and accurately implement products and services
- Verify customer has a solid understanding of how the product is used for safety
- Maintain company vehicle; update truck inventory daily in lieu of work orders replenish stock when needed keep vehicle organized and clean
- Maintain company issued hand tools in good working order
- Follow company Fleet Policy and input hours into Paycom software
- Use a variety of computer program and apps to successfully complete the installation
- Required to interpret location maps blueprints and schematic drawings
- Accurately communicate to customers coordinators and management
- Attend training classes as required by State Certification/Licensing functions

Qualifications
Job Specifications:
- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in low voltage wiring
- Must possess advanced technical knowledge of relevant industry products and services
- Experience in alarm panel programming and CCTV preferred
- BSIS ACE License required
- RAL/Fire license preferred
Job Competencies:
- Must possess strong oral/written communication skills
- Must be easily able to build rapport with different customers and staff.
- Ability to work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites daily
- Effective organizational skills; highly adaptable to new processes
- Demonstrated strength in problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs
- Must be able to stoop kneel crouch and/or crawl in small spaces
- Must be able to communicate and exchange information both in person and by telephone
- Use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms lifting up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to observe and recognize items both close and distance and demonstrate an ability to adjust focus
