Job Description
Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will lead and manage the companys operational divisions including Inventory and Engineering (Parts Lab CCD Lab and Equipment Service Lab). This role will collaborate with VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure products and services are ready to deliver to our customers and the Director of Purchasing to coordinate the sorting of newly purchased materials and share management of shipping and receiving department. The Operations Manager is responsible for hiring firing managing and holding accountable their direct teams while driving performance through EOS and ensuring key KPIs are consistently met. This role is part of the executive leadership team and has future growth potential to advance to Director of Operations.
Key Objectives:
- Strategic Development of the assigned division:
- Establish the assigned division as a cornerstone of the companys growth strategy leveraging your expertise in wire harness engineering and electronic components to drive innovation and excellence.
- Operational Excellence across Inventory and Engineering Divisions:
- Implement robust production planning and scheduling processes tightly aligned with sales forecasts to meet customer demands with precision and efficiency.
- Optimize and ensure that the seamless of the order fulfillment process enhancing accuracy speed and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the PicknShip Ready initiative ensuring that all inventory is meticulously organized and ready for immediate dispatch upholding our commitment to sameday shipping.
- Drive Quality Efficiency and Productivity while aligning to companys strategic goals
- Oversee quality control functions ensuring adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards across all divisions and functional areas and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate effectively with the Purchasing Manager to optimize sorting and shipping/receiving processes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Inventory Division and Engineering Divisions (Parts Lab division Lab and equipment Service Lab) with a key focus on production planning to achieve pickandship readiness for the top 300 SKUs by the end of 2025.
- Oversee production planning aligned with sales forecasts to enhance accuracy speed and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure robust inventory management and maintain quality control standards within all divisions.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure efficient sorting processes and streamlined shipping and receiving operations.
- Promote a culture of safety compliance and continuous improvement.
- Team Management:
- Hire manage and develop a highperforming team within assigned divisions.
- Conduct performance reviews provide regular feedback and ensure alignment with company culture and goals.
- Lead weekly meetings to monitor performance and address any issues impacting KPIs.
- Performance & KPIs:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly ensuring that all teams meet or exceed targets.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards across all operations.
- Deploy and monitor performance against business goals using EOS.
- assigned Division Oversight:
- Execute the growth plan for the assigned Division as outlined by the CEO.
- Ensure the division is equipped with the resources talent and processes needed to meet production and quality targets.
- Provide handson leadership training and mentoring during initial stages of growth.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Marketing to align production schedules and inventory levels with sales forecasts ensuring timely and highquality product delivery.
- Partner with the Director of Purchasing to synchronize inventory sorting and shipping processes with operational needs.
- Work with Sales Customer Service and Finance teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement innovation and employee engagement.
- Oversee the adoption of new technologies and automation to enhance productivity and quality.
- CustomerFocused Leadership:
- Ensure customer needs are met with precision and timeliness.

- Collaborate with customer service teams to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Compliance & Training:
- Ensure all processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Implement onthejob training matrix and maintain updated job descriptions to ensure clear expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Operations Management Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in production planning and quality assurance management.
- Proven track record of leading teams managing performance and achieving operational targets.
- Strong experience in hiring firing and developing talent.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is preferred.
Future Growth Opportunity:
- The Operations Manager role has the potential to advance to Director of Operations after one year contingent on performance and potential restructuring of divisions.
