About the role
doola is seeking a detailoriented Finance Analyst to support our Finance team. As a key member of the Finance function youll ensure timely and accurate financial processes directly contributing to doolas financial clarity and decisionmaking capabilities. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic startup environment enjoys improving processes and has a passion for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
What you will do
Financial Operations
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments commissions and internal expenses.
Process customer referral payments and payments to various government entities.
Own and improve other financial operations processes.
Monthend Close and Bookkeeping
Support timely monthend closing activities in coordination with external bookkeepers.
Prepare financial analyses necessary for monthend reporting.
Investor Reporting
Manage the preparation and distribution of investor reports.
Address adhoc investor reporting requests efficiently and accurately.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Conduct regular FP&A activities to support budgeting forecasting and strategic decisionmaking.
Deliver timely monthly forecasts budget variance analyses and insightful adhoc financial analyses.
Who you are
Experience & Expertise
24 years of experience in financial analysis FP&A or finance administration roles.
Proven experience managing financial transactions commissions or payment processes.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial statements.
Education
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a highgrowth startup environment.
Familiarity with financial software tools such as Brex Mercury and QuickBooks.
Prior experience streamlining and automating manual financial processes.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Comfort with payment processing platforms (Brex Mercury).
