Job Description
The Department of Nursing invites applications for a nine month tenuretrack position starting in the Fall of 2025 at the Assistant Professor rank. Provide service to the School of Nursing College of Health Professions University and nursing profession/community. Responsible for assisting with the accreditation process for the School of Nursing. Work with full and part time faculty. Curricular development revision and evaluation. Active engagement in student recruitment admission and progression Seek external funding for programmatic enhancements. Establish partnership for future the mission of the program. Lead evaluation of program and students outcomes. Teach students in the PreLicensure BSN program and advise nursing students. Engage in scholarship and research. The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the Universitys general education curriculum and its emphasis on using highimpact teaching practices particularly those affiliated with one (or more) of the institutions pedagogical initiatives (e.g. Communitybased Learning Critical Thinking First Year Seminar Writing Across Curriculum etc.. Additionally the ideal candidate will contribute to the Colleges support of interdisciplinary programs of study. Candidates interviewing on campus submit unofficial transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) directly to the chair of the search committee.
