We are creating devices that enable a bidirectional interface with the brain. These devices allow us to restore movement to the paralyzed restore sight to the blind and revolutionize how humans interact with their digital world.
Team Description:
Join the implant team and be part of an elite team of engineers working on highperformance safetycritical embedded systems for the nextgeneration braincomputer interfaces. We are looking for experienced handson engineers who are interested in exploring whats possible in highly powered and latencyconstrained environments. Firmware is the kernel of operation for the implant and you have the chance to determine and implement features that have a massive impact on the products capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work closely with chip designers EEs algorithms and software engineers on a small team that moves quickly.
Job Responsibilities:
Manufacture and verify the thinfilm microelectrode array that records and relays neural signals to the body of the implant. Responsible for scaling up production of microelectrode arrays collaborating with engineers and/or techs and crossfunctional teams to optimize process efficiency and improve array quality and throughput. Provide daily support on processes materials/supplier management and equipment for new and sustaining products. Instrumental in ramping production and accelerating Neuralinks progress. Analyze production processes and equipment and identify opportunities for quality improvement higher throughput labor efficiency and cost reduction. Design procure and implement new production equipment and stations. Implement continuous improvement plan to increase yield and quality using scalable solutions. Understand manufacturing concepts including Lean Manufacturing Design of Experiments (DoE) Product/Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) process validations statistical process control and problemsolving methodologies. Provide manufacturability input to engineers during the process development process as product moves to mature stages of its lifecycle while ensuring compliance to Design Control requirements CGMP FDA and other company policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- 1 year experience in job offered or related occupations (e.g. Process Engineer Automation Engineer).
- Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
- Performing operations on a manufacturing line building millimeterscale/micronscale prototypes
and production versions of products. - Statistical techniques to control a process or production method
- Process validations (Installation Qualification / Operational Qualification / Performance
Qualification) - Solid 3D modeling (such as SolidWorks)
- Design of experiments along with structured problemsolving
- Performing operations on a manufacturing line building millimeterscale/micronscale prototypes

Expected Compensation:
At Neuralink your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the below range. Your actual base pay will be determined by your jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
California Base Salary Range:
$120000 $191000 USD
