Job Description
Security Officer Full Time
Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!!
Location:Denver CO (Various locations within the Denver Metro Area)
Rate:$19.19/HR (After 6 Months $21.83/HR & After 1 Year $22.30/HR)
Schedules:
- Mon Fri: 7AM 3PM
- Mon Fri: 8AM 4PM
- Sat Wed: 3PM 11PM
- Mon Wed Fri Sat & Sun: 3PM 11PM
Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. You will become certified in CPRAED Trauma care Xray imaging in threat detections Deescalation techniques and use of force to mention just a few. These positions require a high level of customer service and professionalism with the ability to work under pressure. While prior security experience is highly preferred we are willing to train the right candidates.
What Your Day May Look Like:
- Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions hazards unlocked doors security violations blocked entrances and exits mechanical problems and unauthorized persons.
- Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment appropriate escalation and use of force is required.
- Working directly with law enforcement government staffing and the community.
- Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries suspicious activity emergency situations and any other observed issues.
- Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.
- Monitors surveillance cameras.

Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed The ability to utilize a tablet computer or smartphone.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Security experience a plus.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e.cell phone).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to speak read and write English.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
