We are looking for an experiencedDatabase (SME)to join our clients team.
Responsibilities:
- Database administrationwith a primary focus onOracle Exacc DBA(additional skills:DB2 LUW MySQL PostgreSQL.
- Managingproduction and project support (L2/L3and database configuration updates and patching.
- Developing and updating scripts inShell Perlfor automation.
- MaintainingPlaybooksand utilizingAnsible/Puppetin daily DBA operations.
- Troubleshooting and optimizingOracle ExaCC (Exadata Cloud @ Customer)performance.
- Supporting developers indatabase performance tuning and scaling.
- Managingdatabase migrationsfrom onpremise toOracle Exadata Cloud (ZDM).
- Defining and implementingdatabase security standardsand supporting audits.
- Providingcoaching and mentoringto team members.
- Participating inoncall support and weekend shifts as needed.
Requirements:
- 1012 yearsof handson experience withOracle databaseson various OS platforms.
- 68 yearsof experience inOracle Exacc/Exadata administration.
- Expertise inOracle RAC Clusterware Grid Infrastructure ASM OEM.
- Proficiency inbackup and recovery(RMAN ZFS/ZDLRA Data Domain CommVault).
- Strongautomation skills(Shell Perl Ansible Puppet).
- Experience inroot cause analysis (RCA)and incident resolution in production environments.
- Excellentdocumentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in aglobal teamand collaborate withoffshore colleagues.
- Readiness to work in afastpaced highavailabilityenvironment.
Nice to have:
- Oracle certifications(OCP OCM).
- Experience withCommVaultfor database backups.
- German language skills.
