Job Description
Location:
Spruce Ridge School located in the community of Estevan SK
Term:
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: May 30 2025
Tenure:
Temporary
Hours of Work:
Equivalent to8 hours per day 40hours per week
Duties:
Duties are outlined in the attached job description.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
- Valid Firemans Certificate is an asset but not required
- Valid Drivers License
- Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures cleaning processes products and equipment is preferred
- General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude
- Must have the ability to operate tractors mowers and equipment efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of computers and applicable software
- Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division
Salary & Benefits:
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIUWest Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd. The starting wage for this position is currently $22.70/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
