Position Summary:The Accounting/Facilities Associate Intern performs a variety of accounting activities and writes detailed desk procedures associated with the processes performed to ensure departmental continuity and manage risk. Oversee child sensory room renovation to align best child experience with budget limitations. Assist with other facility miscellaneous projects including shredding old documents and obtaining and organizing vendor certificate of insurance documents. Essential Responsibilities and Target Outcomes: - Complete an accounting process performed by staff and completes detailed desk procedures that include stepbystep process screen shots etc. to minimize risk if staff leave the organization and ensure continuity in the department and organization.

Requirements: - Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or Business.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication interpersonal presentation facilitation time management critical thinking decisionmaking and analytical skills
- Technical aptitude and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook
- Valid CT Drivers License.
