Job Description

If you have excellent communication skills and are interested in the collision repair industry the Customer Service Advisor position might be for you! The variety of vehicles and repairs as well as the assortment of fun coworkers will keep you on your toes. We have been offering a fun and familylike work environment for 25 years!

The Customer Service Advisor is a professional and key position with responsibilities related to ALL of the jobs in the shop. This job requires being organized inquisitive and willing to learn. Heavyduty truck collision repair is unlike any other animal in the vehicle repair industry! At Truckstar we work and all makes and models so every repair is unique and requires attention to detail. As Customer Service Advisor your role will be essential in supporting multiple estimators completing their daily tasks. Position could lead to becoming an Estimator or Apprentice Estimator.

Tasks include: (but are not limited to)

Customer service:

  • Answer phones greet customers listen to and understand their needs.
  • Provide knowledgeable information about jobs to customers insurance companies and vendors.
  • Help to build good longterm relationships with customers.

Job Coordination:

  • Collect and maintain accurate customer and jobrelated information on ALL customer repair jobs.
  • Work with estimators and production team to meet all customer expectations.
  • Process shop paperwork for customer jobs (work orders etc).
  • Assist with parts data entry physical handling and returns.
  • Assist with scheduling.
  • Manage technician labor tracking on customer repair orders.

Invoicing:

  • Communicate and discuss supplement repairs to obtain approval.
  • Work with estimator to review and close customer jobs in preparation for billing.
  • Present detailed final bills to customers and receive payments.
