Work Hours:MondayFriday 7 a.m.6 p.m. Operating hours may vary depending on operational requirements. Work location at Sacramento State 20 and Cosumnes River College 80.
Department Information
The College of Continuing Education (CCE) extends the mission of the university by increasing access for nontraditional learners. With a primary expertise on serving adult learners CCE provides programs and services to individuals and employers yearround unbound by traditional semester schedules and formats. CCE serves a hybrid student body that extends beyond California serving over 80000 learners annually through inperson hybrid and fully online workshops courses conferences certificate and degree programs.

RequiredQualifications
- Ability to independently prioritize plan and organize work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide direct programs and/or services to a diverse student population.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment.
- Ability to compile prepare write and review reports.
- Proficiency using standard office software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity working with universitybased record/data systems/software (example: PeopleSoft).
- Ability to understand interpret and apply moderately complex rules policies regulations and procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment with diverse colleagues and constituents including faculty students staff and members of the community.
PreferredQualifications
- Experience in a higher education setting (e.g. advising admissions student programming or development).
- Experience working with students from various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds including students that may be considered to be at promise.
