Summary of the Position:

Summary of Position:

Tishman Speyer is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Property Management team. This position reports to the Account Receivable Manager and will work across multiple accounts including The Spiral and 520 Madison. This role will be responsible for financial and clerical services to ensure efficiency and accuracy in applying customer receipts and processing billing charges.

The successful candidate will bring a hospitality mindset have excellent communication skills and be a problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor current customer accounts for overdue balances follow up with internal and external personnel via telephone email and other measures for timely resolution of collection matters and billing disputes

  • Troubleshoot and respond to internal and external inquiries through financial operations shared mailboxes or other established methods

  • Complete data entry and followup procedures to support a variety of accounts receivable and/or accounts payable transactions in accordance with established timeframes

  • Reconcile customer accounts and report discrepancies to the General Manager

  • Perform review of aged delinquencies to ensure accounts receivable balances display an accurate picture of customer receivables

  • Performs miscellaneous office and administrative duties as assigned

  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to write type and grasp documents and items

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 4 years of progressive accounts receivables or accounting experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Finance or Accounting

  • Basic knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products)

  • Must be fluent in English

*Due to the nature of responsibilities this role requires an onsite presence.

The base compensation range for this role is $70000 to $80000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as well as access to our comprehensive medical dental and vision insurance life and disability insurance 401(k) plan (with matching contributions) wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to fulltime Tishman Speyer employees. This base range reflects a number of factors including but not limited to relevant experience skill sets and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyers New York team as weve considered factors specific to this geography.
