Job Description
takealot a leading South African online retailer is looking for a highly talentedBusiness Strategy Analystto join our team in Cape Town.

This role reports into the Head of Business Development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing the research and analysis required to develop robust businesses casesfor new opportunities to grow the business
- Assembling and analysing the data to determine the size of the market for newconcepts
- Researching how solutions are being implemented locally and internationally
- Using online tools and resources as well as identifying and engaging otherinformation sources
- Building Excel models to quantify the size of opportunities
- Applying creative problem solving to develop solutions
- Developing the highlevel functional requirements that the business would needto implement the opportunity.
- You will need to work with specialists across thebusiness to understand what is needed to practically implement ideas
- Building implementation plans and budgets for the of new projects
- Project managing the implementation of selected opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required with a major in a quantitative subject Postgraduate degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. in ecommerce consultingengineering)
- Top academic results
- Competence in Excel
