Hire Resolves Client is seeking experienced Site Agents (Junior to Senior levels) to join our team. Our projects span across multiple provinces in South Africa including Gauteng Mpumalanga Western Cape North West Limpopo as well as Eswatini. The role requires candidates to be based onsite with travel back to Gauteng approximately every two weeks to a month depending on project location.
Develop and implement a detailed project preplan before commencement.
Plan each activity ensuring accurate estimation of resources quantity and time.
Set clear targets and production goals for teams ensuring feasibility under site conditions.
Establish and maintain cost and revenue forecasts aligned with project schedules.
Monitor production rates and project costs making necessary adjustments.
Ensure all weekly and monthly reports are accurate and submitted on time.
Ensure compliance with minimum operational standards for all tasks.
Implement monitoring procedures for production and resource consumption.
Identify and act on efficiency opportunities (e.g. optimizing logistics).
Maintain accurate production tracking and data analysis to improve site operations.
Conduct regular site performance evaluations and adjust targets accordingly.
Maintain an organized document filing system.
Record and analyze rework costs and time separately.
Ensure adherence to risk assessments and method statements.
Implement strict stock control and procurement procedures.
Ensure accurate tracking of subcontractor and supplier orders.
Handle contractual and financial matters for the site.
Enforce strict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies.
Maintain uptodate safety files and conduct regular audits.
Ensure SHE committees are active with scheduled meetings and proper documentation.
Oversee incident and nearmiss reporting investigation and resolution.
Ensure all safety appointments are in place and compliance is met.
Ensure method statements and resources align with preplanning requirements.
Implement a Quality Assurance (QA) system onsite.
Designate a QAresponsible individual to oversee compliance.
Maintain records of rework and ensure proper documentation of all activities.
Distribute necessary project documentation (instructions drawings reports etc. in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain calculation sheets for pay items.
Communicate and implement a survey schedule.
Ensure timely compilation of asbuilt records and project analysis.
Promote the companys vision mission and values onsite.
Maintain professional behavior dress code and branding visibility.
Foster open communication through regular meetings feedback sessions and employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure contract and company policies are adhered to in all communications.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Site Agent in civil engineering or construction.
Proven track record working with credible companies.
Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
Strong knowledge of construction planning site management safety and compliance.
Experience in managing largescale infrastructure projects (roadworks mining infrastructure town planning freeway construction etc..
Excellent leadership organizational and problemsolving skills.
