Your role:
We have a 12month fixed term maternity leave contract role for a Procurement Specialist to manage our Paints Australias portfolio with its coatings raw material supplier base and Procurements interface with Paints Australia Marketing R&D and Operations for the Sales & Operations Planning process.
The role operates under a matrix structure combining category and SBU alignments and is responsible for driving the raw materials and NPD agenda across the Coatings SBUs sourcing new materials both locally and overseas tackling supply and quality issues with urgency and challenging both internal stakeholders and suppliers to review specifications and opportunities.
In this role you will manage a core set of suppliers for the Woodcare business and act as the key point of contact for procurementrelated enquiries and support for our Woodcare business unit. You will attend NPD project meetings and provide procurement inputs including conducting business modelling and forecasting activities.
As a key member of our team youll have the ownership and support you need to succeed both from your leader and your colleagues.
